Thomas is going to love the new truck. It will suit his go for it driving style. Will be good to see him again.

Always good to see families together doing things they enjoy.

Will probably bring Alex down for a race near the end of the month.

I am planing to make it up Saturday, so I have two questions.

1. I do not have any stock sct tires would it be ok if I run either BowTie's or Enduro's

2. Does any one have any extra chassis protecor material or does Performance RC carry any?

I am not fully up on the SCT rules so I cant answer tire question but I do know that the club does have chassis protector for everyones use. It was donated by Jason Walters and is excellent material.

Spike or someone will chime in about the tires I am sure.

from the 2010 marcca rules and classes post :

All SCT must run SCT tires and rims of the 3.0 inner diameter and 2.2 outer diameter dimensions. Any brand or type.

Interpret that as any tire as long as its mounted on the described rim.

Chuck, not sure if either of those tires will work on the carpet. I have some kyoshos u can run if they don't work.
Second part of your question: Duct tape! It fix's all. And works as chassis protector.

Not going to be able to make it up this Saturday. I had promised the wife that the bathroom would be remodeled before I race again. Darn shower needed to be ordered and arrives Saturday - so my day is spent.
I will be sad to miss Mr. Mann's debut with the Losi and the return of Thomas Hill. But, it is better to keep the wife happy than not. Have fun and play nice. And remember - HIT THE RED TRUCK.

Shame that you cant make it Chad. I know from experience....its cheaper to keep er.

Perhaps with my new ride I will be able to catch that red truck.

See you next week on the track....behind me.

Unfortunately you can run them, but they are the wrong compounds & will get trashed on the carpet, & have less overall traction.

Me personally,
1) Blitz "D" compound
2) Kyosho SCT stock tire
3) SC10 old stock tire

Had a great time last night. Spike did a wonderful job as always.
A big thanks to Daryl for the loaner tires.

I am hoping to make it tomorrow. I missed a day at work due to the storm, and it depends if/when the boss wants me to make it up.

Truck might be slightly top heavy, but I suck at driving anyways so who cares? Interesting perspective...

Nice pic. I just received this:

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=17200

from Hobbyking. I need an sd card for it yet. I'll be doing some onroad with it, but would lend it to somebody to record some offroad, that would be cool!
