Hey guys! I have a question for everybody. Why hasn't Marcca banned the strong smelling stuff? No, I am not talking about Daryl, I'm talking about Paragon. The smelly ingredient is a carcinogenic. I have been told that Paragon is the best compound and people are worried about someone else having an advantage. But if no one is using it, it would be moot. Just wondering and not trying to be a hater. Thanks

Makes no difference to me if it's banned or not, but where's the data on the carcinogenic qualities of the compound? Should RC Performance be selling it if it's dangerous?

Does that mean that MARCCA should ban solder flux, CA glue and motor spray? Simple solution is to not drink the stuff or feed it to your pets.

I have never left Marcca and had my wife complain that my jacket smells like solder flux, ca glue or motor spray. Plus I have never had my jacket smell like any of those other things days later. In the immortal words of Daryl.... Just saying......

It would be awesome if MARCCA switched to odor free traction compound. Paragon gives me headaches. Boooo!!!!

Just some thoughts............

Look at http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...t-stink-3.html and read the reply from the wholeyearinn, plenty of good information. He's some sort of safety professional and gives links to info on the compound. Net result is don't drink it or take a bath in it, otherwise no real health problems. Regards smelling of stuff, I play pool at Pitchers pub and come back smelling of the age old grease embedded in the building, it's bad. What I do is have a set of Pitchers Pub clothes that I wear only there and remove then wash once I come back home. I doubt many people would have to do that from MARCCA, but just a suggestion if you are in that predicament.

I just want to know if you have ever smelled me on your wife? HA!
The smell does get bad at times, that's for sure. And my clothing does smell of it until washed. Give me afew years and I'll let you know how it is on the brain.

Just wanted to say "great job" to all the drivers in the A main super SCT. We haven't had a clean main in awhile. That is how it is done! On a side note, great job in qualifing by Josh. 2nd in qualifing and looking strong in the main until something broke. And to think you were going to quit racing sct! LOL. Congrads to Tim on the win, his truck is hooked up!

Reminder that the monthly club meeting is scheduled for 3:00 at the track. Much to be discussed. See everyone at the track.

Do they call him a ringer because thats the sound the pipes make when he bounces off them? Just kidding of course...

Will be great to see and run with Thomas again.

How did the "Ringer" do?
And is he available next Saturday for a possible dream crushing?
