I don't know exactly what time the track will open, but guys should be there around 1 to practice. Racing starts at 6:00. See the MARCCA indoor thread for further details.

Nice turn out for our first night on the carpet. A great layout made for some close racing in all classes. Looks like another fantastic season of thrills and spills on the rug.

Thanks to all that helped with the move, track setup, stocking the fridge and making all the fun possible.

Monthly meeting will be November 13th at 3:00 at the track. See you then.

Sounds as if you had a tough time with traffic. We can discuss what went on next week.

As your skill increases you will find that you are less tolerant of people not using proper etecate, and it can be lacking at MARCCA especially in the SCT class. While I love and support the club I do know how frustrated Jason gets when we return to race at MARCCA. Just remember it is only club racing and the wheel time is what is important, not your finishing position.

Zach,

Were you running the open or super class?

Sometimes everyone gets a little excited at the chance for an A main win and loses control of how they drive.

Having fun is our main goal at Marcca and becoming a better more professional type driver is a close second. We will do what we can to promote good clean racing in all classes so everyone can enjoy themselves.

Our open class is for the less experienced drivers. People become a super class driver when they can show good control of their truck and know how to behave on the track 98% of the time. Perhaps a few people need to be reminded of this so they can stay in the right class. Spike and I will do the best we can to get things cleaned up as needed when needed.

I was under the impression that MARCCA's forum was the place for this discussion and apologize if this is not the case. I have had similar concerns and have started a discussion there. Spedtke has been kind enough to clarify things for me.
