Vic, it stop with your last post. We have tickle friends to post and reply. Kumusta yung Frontier 20 mo? Lumipad na ba? I have 4 fuselages here of that plane and the foam cores. We assembled one wing. Am finishing a fully sym wing,no dihedral, from a plane called The Mystique. had this orig years ago but has since crashed it. I kept the plan. Fantastic flier. It's an intermediate, fully sym and fmakes no difference flying inverted. I am going to try it on an Edge 540 fuse, 40 RC ngine BB.
Been reviewing a great book by Model Airplane News. Lots of fundamentals on airfoils, planforms, stabs, fins etc and on flying like take off and landing with a crosswind. I will be glad to discuss with any modeler who wants to be serious on these topics. lots of linggo like pitching moment, stall angle, AoA, etc. Nung nagumpisa kame, basta binili namin ang kit, lumipat, ok na. pero habang tumatanda, nakaka interest naman sa fundamentals. Might skip tomorrow too sa Niog. We will probably take off an orig mosquito here inside BF for a test flite. Hope it will be dry tomorrow.

Vic, it's Sunday., nagpost ako kagabi. nawala. There was something I did wrong..perhaps. Yung last post sa yo. I would like to contribute and tickle discussions..Just reviewed theories on wing airfoils,semi ,fully sym, flat bottoms,MAC, stabs and fins, pitching moments etc..Taking off and landing during crosswinds by Dave Patrick.
I just glued the LE sa wing ng Frontier 20, half round wood , medyo blunt pero maganda daw ito, hindi masyado malikut and wing. may spars up and down and wood TE too. dilute white glue at pahiran and manila paper to cover, mag sag sa una, tapos babatag yan. ulitin. Nawawala and pores ng foam. Ayun, next choose Solarfilm, vynil, colored tape. Mas ok kung may white latex primer. Litw ang kulay. Yung isa ay fully sem wing 56 inch WS galing sa plano mg "mystique" orig kit I bought years ago. The orig flew very nicely, fat wing to, 2" thick and that is 20% of chord. Ganda recovery, similar speeds sa climb at dive. No dihedral. Ang cutter namin 60 inches so we can cut one piece. Thick spars for strength. Malkasand centrifugal weight vs the wings g pang aerobatics. Pang 40 ito. Ang fuse ay look alike ng edge 540, na dilaw. baka i-test flite next Sunday na.
Ok, nandito pa itong orig J340, full WS at isang fully built P51, parejo for sale. See to appreciate...May Happy 20 orig dto ni MK (Japan). Super light.
