aluminum drive shaft and shaft cups are a must... otherwise you'll be replacing the tub chassis every race!

There will be a rally car class (in addition to F1) on Dec 16. Most likely rule:
* Realistic rally bodies. No Protoform or touring bodies.
* Silvercan or Tamiya 32T Formula tuned only
* 1/10 Rally tires only (HPI, Tamiya, etc). Radial on-road tires or slicks not allowed.
* Spoked or patterned wheels only. Dish wheels not allowed (unrealistic).
* Traction compound not allowed
* Tires must have visible thread
* 10 minute race
* Any battery and esc (no expensive power capacitors like Keyence Chevalier/Turbo, TOP 0.15 farad, etc).
* 200mm maximum width
* M-chassis rally allowed
* Minimum weight of 1,500 (to encourage realism with driver figures, spoilers, lights, etc).
For suggestions, please send me a PM or call me. I will collate all, and if there is a common request, the rules can be revised.
Plenty of time to get our kits ready.

That VWinRC is now a mix of CopterX, Tarot and Align parts. Each person i asked told me they'd rather get their parts online than go local. I didn't mind it being more expensive if i don't have to wait three weeks for the part, but apparently they were also referring to quality issues. I'm just waiting for the hex bolts for the tail mount so i can secure it, not sure if you can fly it safely with this many loose threads on it.

The only good things i bought from lowdogs were the GeniusCP parts, so i went to them even after the disasters with the VWinRC heli, but after the shorted tail set they sold me, i'm off them for good. It probably shouldn't matter much if it just one thing, but each time i bought from them, i ended up re-buying the same parts from somewhere else.
