AYE!!!

the rc frequency is only temporary until at least majority of the guys have posted.

some threads can merge withother threads and for the weather update, why not some guys make it as their signature?

Non-RCstuff can be merge with RC Stuff onlyif being traded or swapped with an RC stuff.

The Porsche Boxster, Porsche 911, Mercedes SLK, BMW M Roadster and Honda S2000 may only use wheels and tires that are of the 26mm type. 24mm wheels and tires are not legal for the 2004 season. 8.Due to the recent amount of disparity among the different mini chassis types, the following gearing rule will be in effect for the 2004 season. Because the M-04 uses the bigger sedan tires and offers an overall gearing advantage compared to the older smaller tired minis, the M-04 will be restricted to the 17-tooth pinion as of the 2004 season.

The following is the maximum size gears that are allowed for each mini chassis type:
M0-4 with Sedan type tire: max pinion 17 tooth
M-04m (Alfa body only) with 60D tires: max pinion 19 tooth
M0-3 with 60D tires: max pinion 20 tooth
M0-1/2 with 60D tires: max pinion 20 tooth
M0-1/2 with 26MM sedan tires: max pinion 18 tooth
Running a M0-3 with sedan tires is not legal for 2004.

note: The TL-01 Spec class is intended for Novice drivers. Participants wishing to enter a spec type class that is of intermediate to expert ability should opt to enter the Stock Touring Class. It will be at the discretion of the Organizers to weed out drivers who are attempting to enter this class, that are of better ability, to bump them up to a different category.

Default Newbie with TLO1

BLACKWRENCH; Bro, i have some advice for making your TLO1 a little more friendly on the Capitolyo track. First, if you are using a 240s Kyosho motor, please keep the timing at Zero (0)degrees, that will prevent overheating and premature battery dump as advancing timing also increases current consumption. Next, try using first the 21t pinion, this is the middle pinion and could balance the way your car accelerates and tops out on the straights. Third, bro, if your car flips, this means a suspension fix is in order, try to get oil shocks, unbelievably, Tamiya plastic CVA short shocks prove very reliable when assembled properly. Friction shocks just can't cut it if you use mod motors. Tires are a bit tricky with the TLO1, if your car is set up very low to the ground, by all means use type A slicks as they are very sticky. If you still want to use friction shocks, use type A's behind, stock slicks in front, this will cause your car to "push" a bit preventing
rollovers. Bro, i strongly suggest also using Deans plugs with your batts to esc connectors as i had a hard-headed friend who insisted on Tamiya plugs, we would subsequently spend half the afternoon trying to pry the fused ends of his plugs apart! Especially when using hot motors. I also run a TLO1 and it is a pretty good budget car, just needs some tweaking to get it set up right. Just my two cents worth. Hope this helps some. I've been doing RC cars for over twelve years now and i'm glad to be able to help in any way to you guys. Just keep on having fun!!! ... By the way, there's a group that plays in the Makati track at Park Square that runs only TLO1 cars, you might want to
check them out saturdays, they are all really cool guys and won't hesitate to help you out with your RC problems, me included.
