ewanko: di ko natanong kung meron parts, i'll ask nalang kung meron sila. as for the computer heli radios, magkano ba sila? ung decent na and a radio na i can grow with, and sana ung pwede sa glider, fixedwings, and heli na radio like ung hitec eclipse 7, and airtronic rd6000, any idea kung magkano itong mga to?

anyway, im planning to buy na ung sim, para makuha ko ung feel for it... hehe... how much din pala ito?

Kok_kok: I checked out the Caliber na dati. I guess wala talaga sila parts. You better go Hirobo na lang as mas malapit Lil's Makati sa'yo OR JR (dyan lang sa Bautista-Makati ang hobby shop). You should buy heli na marami parts support. Otherwise gagasgasin mo credit card mo pagbuy ng parts outside RP. Budget wise, you better get Pitshop's Airtronics RD6000 na heli package which includes a gyro already, madali lang i-setup yan. Ewanko and I can help you. Go buy a radio and a Flightsim first. Ask DuckRC on the flightsim.

same with jr, nu magandang heli nila na versatile din, pwedeng pang newbie, pero pagnadevelop na ung skills e masasatisfy ka naman?

ok din ba ung quality ng build, and fit and finish of the parts nung raptor 30 v2?

dont know much about anything e... hehe... so here's another dumb (i think ) question... lahat ba ng heli nakakagamit ng eccpm? or meron pang-mechanical lang?

Hirobo ok naman ang price same as JR though medyo mahal lang ng konti pag dating sa parts.

Go with plastic-frame helis (i.e. Hirobo Sceadu 30, Thunder Tiger Raptor 30 V1/V2 and JR Venture 30). Cheapest is the TT Raptor 30 V1 (14k), JR Venture (18k yata) and Hirobo Sceadu (mga 20k). I'd rather not get the Raptor V2 kasi kulang pa sa parts support yan parang Caliber. Most heli flyers here in Manila fly either Hirobo or JR, kumonti na din ang nagpapalipad ng Raptor pero as with the two, madami pa din parts available.

CCPM- Hirobo is standard Swash-plate mix but has optional CCPM, JR is CCPM except for their older Ergo lines, Thunder Tiger is standard mix. Just get a radio that is capable of CCPM na in-case you go JR.

Kung nagtitipid ka, just buy the Raptor V1 kay Lil's 14k includes heli .30 engine. Parts support marami kay Manny Sunico/Urban.

Just got home from Best Buy after the wife bought me my Xmas gift. Got me a Netgear 108 Mbps Wireless G/B/and up firewall router and an HP Athlon XP-M powered laptop with on-board Wi-Fi, 512mb RAM, ATI Radeon 9200, 15 inch screen and DVD-RW .

Set up the home Wi-Fi network and plugged in the notebook .

AYAW MAG-ON ! What a bummer. I was dreaming of surfing tne net while my wife slept beside me, ngayon gusto kong ibato tong tongue nang to. Di na ko bibili nang AMD! Nyeta asar na asar ako ! Celeron na lang ulit. MANG! Ikaw may kasalan nito. Sabi mo OK yung AMD !

Kok_kok: ok yung JR Venture CP .30, you can set it up for beginners and experts alike, everything is in the kit. Pwede pa i-upgrade yan to Venture .50 so parang naka .60 ka na later-on. Ok din mga nabanggit mong radio, pero I suggest you get no lesser than the X-378. baka kulangin ka sa functions when you get the 652 pag naging-expert ka na check mo din yung Airtronics RD6000 ni Pitshop, baka may CCPM na yun at least yung heli package includes the servos and a good GYRO. Victory World is the hobby shop exclusive for JR Propo Heli Division products, go along buendia, tawid ng south super highway, two streets turn right to BAUTISTA, two streets across to your left nandun na yung hobby shop.

JT: Ok AMD, before I've been moving up (slowly) on my home/desktop gaming PC from AMD's Duron 650MHz, 800, 1.3 and now 2.1GHz and never encountered any problem. The processor's really faster compared to Intel's. I have a Compaq notebook used for work running at Intel's M-1.8GHz, pero my previous AMD 1.3GHz blows it away. Anyway, I assume may warranty naman yan eh. Pag notebooks hassle talaga, my old Thinkpad never lasted a year and got plagued with problems pero my current Compaq 1 taon na parang bago pa din. Chamba-chamba lang talaga. Goodluck!

Actually, it looks like the FEDA with it mixing board. So many people are flying it becuase of it price $ 79.00 and its enjoyability. ano ba feedback mo sa none-collective helis?

JT: Actually pareho lang yata manufacturer nung Century at FEDA, FEDA being the OEM. OK fixed pitch (non-collective) heli pero not for beginners and learning. Also, you can't do 3D with fixed-pitch. I owned a FEDA once pero never enjoyed it well (almost same ang cost hehe). Once you get the hang of it, sarap din i-flyout inside the house. Madali pa ipag-yabang sa mga relatives hehe, small at konti set-up. Problema lang din set-up changes everytime kasi yung parts plastic and tend to bend/twist. Pag naputol pa, mahal din ang parts (small plastic rod w/ cups at the end about 5mm long P200/piece). BTW, masakit din matamaan ha hehe... got some bruises dahil matalim dulo nung blades nyan. Also, if you go for it, get the mixing board with the "heading-hold" gyro... yung stock kasi separate yung gyro na unit at hindi HH. For $79, ok mura yan! You can upgrade it to parts made by other manufacturers for the Piccolo micro-heli unit!!! Pwede mo i-collective pitch yan!!!
