1/8 SCALE E-BUGGY NATIONALS:
garet santayana posted the early benchmark in the early qualifying session.
he was almost assured of pole until a late charged by emer agero in
the last and final qualifying run was he able to snatch the top qualifier
spot away from garet.
tq emer agero, 2nd garet santayana, 3rd mike ang, 4th ish montilla
5th joseph salcedo were the top five at the grid.
1st A-main was a battle between the top 3 protagonist exchanging leads
with one another until emer experienced some problems that left the doors
open for mike and garet to continue the fight to the finish. it was a test of
nerves with mike ang prevailing.
2nd A-main went with an early escape by emer with mike having
traction control issues that left garet do all the chasing. at one point,
i noticed that garet was losing speed that led him to preserve his batteries
and hold his 2nd position to the end. but that almost didn't work because a
hard charging ish montilla was hot in pursuit of 2nd spot held by garet.
when time had elapsed, ish almost caught garet. emer agero got an easy win.
3rd A-main, 1 win-mike ang, 1 win-emer agero.....could one of them be the
winner or will we have another winner? the 3rd A-main went off with a clean
start from the racers........emer, garet and mike formed an early train
and were breaking away from the group till mike crashes and left emer
and garet up front. garet was chasing like hell all through out when emer
was able to stretch his lead. at one point, when garet was almost side
by side with emer, he crashes...and has to do it all over again. with a minute
to go, finally, garet with his patience and uncanny driving, was able to pass
by emer cleanly entering the back straight and eventually secure the win.
3 winners in 3 A-mains.....there must be a tie somewhere here as i
told the winners, the computer software will adjudged the tie break
and the printout will be final. i myself, don't know who among them
was the national champion and we were all glued to the printer
on whose name would come out on top..........results showed........
emer agero 1st, garet santayana 2nd both equal in points with
mike ang 3rd.
congratulations to all the winners and for your support.
official results will be posted soon.

We had a great time last year but we had all hoped for a larger turnout. So come on guys, make plans to join us and lets make this years Nationals special.
Who is going to be crowned 2013 Philippine National Champion?
See you guys next week.
Thanks
Scotty

Trackside,
We are very bless someone very popular in the RC Community, to come to PH, and help our club for this coming the Off-Road Nats.
We are looking forward to see you in less than 2weeks time.
I guess the defending Champion Jordan is the high contender to bag the title, lets see if Raffy, edward, nani, ogie and dennis can do something about it.
Greendot,
thank you sir for sharing pansit
