A good stock (unmodified) 5 port engine is close to your complete Novak BL system.

Like what Master X mentioned, 7 port engines are hard to come by in .12 engines. Even if they are, their prices will be about the same as 5 port engines if not slightly lower.

The one I know is the Ofna Picco engine and the other is the Sirio TUP Pro.

Prof.D, mind explaining to me in Sirio engines, alot of people is saying its a 5+2 port engine instead of a 7 port engine.
Mind telling me the difference???

That's the same Sirio engine lah... A lot of people refer it as a 7 port engine. The techies will refer it as a 5 + 2 ports.

Don't know why it is not so famous anymore. When it came out, everybody was hunting for it and the price was close to RM 1000 or even more at one time if I'm not mistaken.

Never seen this 5+2 port engine before. Anyway sirio has the reputation of leaking carb.

hmmm...
seems like tamiya is forsaking 414m series cars now.they seems to have switch to shaft with the evo3 and the release of tt01,tb-02...all shaft...

Leaky carbs it does have. This is due to the composite type carbs on Sirio engines unlike full aluminum ones on Nova based engines.

i ws told that ts is one hell of a engine to tune..........
