at basketball court i was ok when i cocentrate ... but when i figure out how to set up car while driving .... HAHAHA car was like all over - cut track here and there !!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D :blush: :p

the data colected is recorded in my head ... then replayed when i get back to be written on paper and then analysed to see where to go from there ....
gathered bits of data on slipery surface ...
but nothing much on med-high traction surfaces... :(
i will need to do more testing ....

figured why i was gettin sudden overstearing when i carefully check out car .... my REAR tire is stuck to body cause its too long ...
the concave cut is for a shorter chasis version (binding)

now i will be looking for a setup to hook the car up (stick tires to ground :D ) then .. :sneaky:

pan car like FEEL ... maybe mite try to achive thet ... but it depends if i can drive it well or not ....

i using skyline(jap car),roy using elise(british car) n hock guan using dodge(US car)...american n english quarrel,japanese dun understand english,so he speed away...hehee...

ahh i also try ijneks car ....
really hooking up well PLUZ it has a super sharp kinda response ....
hehe but hard 4 me to get used to it....

super slow, relax, smooth, -unexciting driving style ....
my reflexes a bit slow maybe hehehe ...

his car ...just go to coner dot then PULL tru again keep doing this well and u will shooting here and there ! ... no need to space for turning radious ... as long as the front tire goes ahead slightly from marker TURN then the car pulls tru .... very aggerasive .... :eek:

altho it slide a bit but can drive more aggerasively ...
can really dive into coners .... :eek:!
he was FAST man -hardly see his bumper....
then we got into a dog fight... eehhh no.. no car fight british/malaysian(roy-lotus) car vs american car(me-dodge stratus) as ijnek said ...
the japanese car (ijnek-skyline) dun understand english so he left us alone behind ... LOL:D:D.... ijnek seized the chance to break off.... :D:D

soli-lah roy ... my car was really feeling quirky then ... tire losing grip like crazy ... :eek: dunno where i was going ....
i think it was overheating cause after a brief stop/slowdown it feels ok again - still think it was the wrong tire for the surface...hm .. should have bought my 'dusty track tires' along ...:D:D

for me, my car also looked super slow when driving alone .... feels boring one..... and veli easy to spin out ....
dunno how ijnek and roy feel when they try my car ....

hm ..... i checked my pinion gear to confirm my gearing ......
the earlier heat i was using 46 pinion with 112 spur which gives a FDR of 5.18/5.2 motor like melting ... :wierd: weather hot maybe....
then i chaged to '36' not '26'
which gives a ratio of 6.62...

u guys r using 120/40 so its 6.39........me also stock motor...
drive frequency is 4.5 and power limitor is at 70%

wished there was more traction and a more hi-speed track and more pple... then MORE FUN!

car keep losing grip during acceleration after i change pinion to a smaller one

will post update once i get the setup rite...

we r running 120/45...
ur car felt loose,...especially the tail...
i would love 2 change the damper settings n position since the 414m has a lot of options...

hm......what do u sugest on shock positions??
i am thinking of trying innermost hole on both ends ... :D

i suggest tat u remove the front n rear anti-roll bar bcos they cause understeer...
mayb move the front shock position 1 hole inward...
should help 2 improve ur steering...

yesterday i was at bukit indah club ... WHOA those cars are VERY VERY well tuned ...

sounded like F1 when they pass infornt of u ... on the strights ...
(engine opening up well - very well) :D:D
unlike most RC cars where the sound isnt that impressive these cars sounded trick !

looks like i mite just start saving a gas car LOL

i wun b getting into nitro,...love the music of a well-tuned engine n the engineering aspect of nitro really beats electric,but i can't afford the time...

my 04r is pretty well setup now.mayb i will need 2 change to a softer spring at the rear when we run at dataran.not sure if i will get used 2 it,but i sure know tat i dun like it when i was running at basketball court last sat.

neither would i go into nitro...
too much time & money needs to be invested into it...

strange enuf... i dun really like the sound of the nitro engine...
i find it abit noisy...

i prefer the hissing sound emitted by a belt-drive car...

By the way, by imataquito removing his anti roll bar... wouldn't it make his car more un-predictable??? hmmmm... understeer? turn into the corner earlier lor... or get a more powerful motor to induce a power slide... hmmm...
