Open Class (13.5T Turbo-Timing/BOOSTED)*

1. Open motor, any brand of brushless 13.5T motor with IFMAR / ROAR / EFRA approval is allowed

2. In order to be eligible to race in this class, racers are required to use AT LEAST ONE of the following items from ORCA, preferbly all, in every run : -
a)ORCA electronics speed controller
b)ORCA batteries
c)ORCA motor

3. Total Minimum Weight allowed – 1380g (Including transponder or personal transponder)

4.*Tires: RIDE Part No. 26010-S Tires ONLY (Pic of Tire as per below). 2 sets of Tires maximum would be allowed for 13.5T Turbo Timing class.

5. Any brand of battery type & capacity is permitted
- Limited to only 6 cells Ni-Cd/Ni-MH or 2 cell Lipo*

6. Any Brand of Brushless ESC are permitted, however NO REVERSE function is allowed during the RACE

7. Maximum no. of participant: 30

1. Motor will be HAND OUT on RACE DAY ONLY, PHYSICAL TIMING ON THE MOTOR IS NOT ALLOWED.

2. In order to be eligible to race in Novice class, racers are required to use at least one of the following items from ORCA, preferbly all, in every run : -
a)ORCA electronics speed controller
b)ORCA batteries

3. Total Minimum Weight allowed – 1380g (Including transponder or personal transponder)

4.Tires: RIDE Part No. 26010-S Tires ONLY (Pic of Tire As Per Below). 1 set of Tires maximum would be allowed for 17.5T Zero Timing class.

5. Any brand of battery type & capacity is permitted
- Limited to only 6 cells Ni-Cd/Ni-MH or 2 cell Lipo

6. ESC must be on zero timing at all times during the race. Any Brand of Brushless ESC are permitted, provided it has the ROAR initiated Blinking Zero Timing Indicator . (Pls refer to the bottom for the list of approved ESCs)

FF Class (13.5T No-Boost)

3. No Touring Car or GT type body shell is allowed for this class

4. Total Minimum Weight allowed – 1380g (Including transponder or personal transponder)

5.Tires: RIDE Part No. 26010-S Tires ONLY (Pic of Tire as per below). 2 sets of Tires maximum would be allowed for 13.5T Turbo Timing class.

6. Any brand of battery type & capacity is permitted

RACE FORMAT FOR CLASSES ABOVE:

PRE-QUALIFYING: 3min Run (Best Single Lap to be Use for Qualifying Placement)

QUALIFYING : 3 Heats (Best 1 of 3) 5 min each

FINALS : (5min each)
- A Main: 3 rounds
- B Main: 1 rounds
- C Main: 1 rounds

F1 Class (17.5T No-Boost)

1. ONLY Formula 1 Body Shell are allowed. No Cutom home made wings allowed.

2. Chassis must be Formula One type eq: TAMIYA F104, HPI F TEN….etc
- Two (2) wheel drives (rear only) is allowed.
- Solid axle drive system. Full independent rear suspension system not allowed.
- Option parts that made for that model can be used.

3. Open motor, any brand of brushless 17.5T motor with IFMAR / ROAR / EFRA approval is allowed

4. ESC must be on zero timing at all times during the race. Any Brand of Brushless ESC are permitted, provided it has the ROAR initiated Blinking Zero Timing Indicator . (Pls refer to the bottom for the list of approved ESCs)
- However NO REVERSE function is allowed during the RACE

10. Race Format:
- 3 Rounds of Heats (5min)
- Best round to be used for Placement on the Grid in the Finals
- 2 Heats of 10min Final for ALL DRIVERS.
Final result based on best run. In the event of a tie on points, lap numbers, total time, fatest lap would be used as a tie break in the order listed.

I still have 2 sets o Ride 26010 from the Ride Cup in January. Can those be used or do I need the S variant? Also, can the TOP Sabre FD be used since it is a FF car but the motor sits behind the front axle?

I have only two battery, an orca lipo battery and non orca lipo battery, can i use that non-orca battery after my orca battery was used?

Hi Zephuros,

After take into consideration that some racers still having the RIDE 26010 tires, thus, racer organizer will allow RIDE 26010 to be used ONLY in Round 1. But it is not allowed to use in Round 2 & 3.

About Top Sabre FD, yes, it can be used as it is a FF chassis.

Yes, the RIDE Slick F1 Tires (Type H1 compound) is allowed to use. But only in round 1. The R1 tires must be used from round 2 onwards.

According to the R & R, the racers must have AT LEAST ONE ORCA products in every run. Inspection will be carried out after each run.

Thus, unless you have others ORCA product(s), otherwise, the non-Orca battery should not be used in your run after ORCA battery was used.

I would like to race for 17.5t category, would the handout motor (assuming the handout motor is an orca) + orca battery is enough to be eligible?

in case how much is the hand-out motor?

Yes, you are eligible.

Motor will be Handed out to racers on Race Day only, and need to be returned to the organiser after race completed.

Since the motor is a loan unit, you are not required to pay extra for the motor.

Also, please take note that :

1)Motor's Physical Timing CANNOT BE ADJUSTED

2)MINIMUM & MAXIMUM RATIO OF BETWEEN 5.0 AND 5.3 MUST BE ADHERED TO
