Any one are there?
I'm newcomer in Melaka from japan last August.
And looking for middle or small size raceway of 1/10 EP in around KL.
I love 1/10 and 1/12 EP racer.
Could you please tell me information for it?

Hello there Hiroyuki.....

There used to be a few RC tracks for EP on-road in KL. But its now down to 2 only....in Kota Raja, Klang (about 1 hour's drive from KL City Centre)....and KL International RC Circuit (KLIRCC) in Kepong, KL. All other tracks have since closed down.

The KLIRCC is a very big track, more suited for GP on-road. So u wont see a lot of EP guys bashing there although there may be some.
But Kota Raja is a nice EP on-road track with many ppl bashing EP cars (touring cars, mini, trucks, FF, F1 - mostly 1/10) there on wknds.....esp Sunday. 1/12 is not popular in Malaysia.

Both are outdoor tracks. We do not have indoor tracks in Malaysia.

But if you are in Melaka, you can also take a trip to JB. JB has the best track for EP on-road at Taman Mutiara Rini, Hutan Bandar MBJBT Skudai. You should check it out.

I appreciate for your detail information!

I've never thought JB but sure it is one of choice I can.


But at first , I will try to go Kota Raja this week end.

And I should do shopping and prepare equipment for start RC in Malaysia.

I couldn't bring many RC parts and any from JPN.

I will also try to visiting RC shop at around KL.

(I know a few shop name in KL that RC station , RC Dreams.... )


BTW.

I did miss reading your name to Syahrin .

I also love Motorcycle race, I went to Sepang yestarday.

because it have MotoGP official test.

I know & support the only Malaysian MotoGP rider Syahrin !

Hi Hiroyuki....

We've met in Kota Raja for a short while. You came when there was a race scheduled there.

You now know the state of the Kota Raja track. And that there are efforts to repair it. Hopefully, it would be great again.

Anyway......I can't help but noticed the RC shops you have mentioned (e.g. RC Station, RC Dreams). Just letting you know, most of the racers in KL go to RC Planet (for Xray, Hudy, Maclan), Hobby Haven (for Yokomo), MasPro (for Awesomatix, Express, ORCA), TAMIYA Underground (for Tamiya, Mugen), ToyKar (Sanwa, Kyosho) and a few others. You can actually find 3-4 RC shops in Glenmarie, Shah Alam area alone....all in 1 area. And 2 RC shops in 1 Utama Shopping Centre.
