ORCA BL Championship
Dear Drivers,
We are pleased to announce the 1st round of ORCA BL Championship.
Date: 13th June 2010 (Sunday)
Venue: SS19 Planet Speedway
Class: (a) 1/10th Touring Car; (b) Mini 2WD; (c) Mini 4WD
Entry Fees: RM50 for Touring class; RM30 for Mini 2WD & 4WD
* (i) For Class (a), ORCA Brushless motor will be on "hand-out" basis;
(ii) For Class (b) and (c), motors will be opened to any brand of Brushless motors with the limit of 17.5T maximum. Any higher turn of BL motors are allowed.
(iii) for all classes, ESC will be controlled at 0 timing, 0 Turbo settings. List of approved ESC will be posted. (refer to the new ROAR rules on ESC)
Detailed R&R will be posted very soon.
There will be limited seats available due to the number of handout motors on hand. Only 30 seats are available for Touring cars.

1. Handout ORCA Q 17.5T motor

- However NO REVERSE function is allowed during RACE
6. Body Shell: any types of 1/10th Touring Body (190mm) are allowed.
7. Wheels and Tires: Open to all types of Wheels and Rubber Tires.

1) Motor cannot be disassembled or tampered in any manner

How fast do you think a 17.5T BL motor with no timing can go? Ok, its faster than a 48T brushed motor, but not too fast that it can break traction at SS19.
Furthermore, you know we are living in this day and age where we have chemicals to spray on the track surface. And rest assured Mr Suah will make sure he sprays it twice just for you.

p.s. We have ran the 48T at 3.1 ratio, yes its not that fast, but I am quite the 17.5T BL are not that much faster even if you are running it at about 4.0 ratio and we can hear our tires screeching around corners, ala TITC, remember?
