Wow! How much is the estimated retail price? Hopefully none of them exceed RM800 I had eyes on the D21T (Green head) a few weeks ago, and LRP Z.21R Spec2 (3days ago), and probably I'm going to have to reconsider

razor_clawzz, you got pm. STS has improve a lot in terms of quality and performance on their engines. Someone has tested this S21T engine and it's really good i can say.

Oh, what's the disadvantages of Turbo engine? How different is it? Do they run hotter than non-turbo engines? When it comes to real cars, low end torque is sacrificed due to the implementation of a turbo unit. Does this apply to r/c engines too? Thanks!

Non Turbo Off Road Engines tend to be easier to tune and idles well but Turbo 1s have a lot more torque n if you get it tuned right, they idle just as well.

most people said that pipe is for eye candy, it's durable, cooler but doesn't sound as good as alu pipes. carbon pipe does not perform as good as alu, the best is metal, but due to weight issue most buggy use alu material as pipe. alu resonates better than carbon, it creates better pressure pulses. carbon runs cooler but in every engine, 2 or 4 strokes, we need hotter pipe to help exhause gas to escape faster(gas flow momentum), which help engine to burn fuel efficiently.

Meaning an inexperienced newby would have trouble to get it tuned by themselves to the relatively narrow band of tuning tolerance? How much more torque in figures of the turbo over non turbos? I have been meaning to find out but dont have the luxury of a bench to do it. Could you share with us your info, jets, for you have been into RC since your school days?

Hi,

How about a Go Tech 5port or 7port ? They're quite economical & performance wise decent. The price is right too.

For my case, I'm a newbie that tends to abuse my engines. So far only managed to kill 1

Regards,
Joe Ling

PS : standard disclaimer - I'm not associate with Go tech in anyway nor do I get commission from touting them. Just a satisfied customer
