Actually clears perfect if not better than the body that came with the kit! I borrowed one of the JConcepts boys bodies and tried it on my car! Looked and fit nice! " cant remember his name the little dude with glasses "

Something to consider. What kind of car did he drive. Maybe I should get the body that fit his car cause it fit mine perfectly!

Jason Rouna (Owner of JConcepts) He was driving an RC8B, which is the reason his body fit your RC8E so good......

Also like SD said the Hot Bodies wheel nuts have a rough side that seats into the wheel to help prevent them from falling off. Blue locktite also does wonders for wheel nuts

LOL so he's the OWNER not just a sponsored racer! lol Good to know!

Ya doesn't matter to me what wheel nuts I go with im just hesitant at the moment because I cant even get the shock pistons I need. I can wait on the body and wing but those pistons are pretty important.

Ya trust me I went over my car 3 or 4 times before I set it on the track. Truth be told I didn't use lock tight on the nuts. " lessen learned" but figure'd id just get the wheel nuts that lock themselves in.

I was seated 3rd in the B main and both 1st and 2nd place didnt even finish the race. Just making sure I do everything next time so I have a better chance of bumping up!

Will this track be racing this Sat?

You still need to locktite the wheel nuts which have some self locking features. Rule of thumb, if you can put the nut on easily with your fingers it doesn't have enough locktite. Also, when the hub and the nut are anodized it needs more locktite.

I've never used lock tight on wheel nuts and have never lost a wheel nut during a heat race or any main that I was in. I've used both style wheel nuts before also.
