Belum tau neh bisa masuk apa kaga, cuman kayanya ukurannya kan 1/24, kalo mini z khan 1/28, jadi kayanya beda tuh, lagian disain chasisnya juga gak sama, mini z khan pake noseclip segala, tapi tar deh kalo barang ogut dateng qta cobain

Wah kemaren itu qta ambil satu di singapore, tapi memang quality controlnya lemah banget, dapet chasis retak, trus moso bodynya salah kasih, body mc laren tapi chasisnya enzo ferrari, jadi kaga bisa masuk
Emang harganya separoh dari mini z tapi quality controlnya kayanya lemah jadi banyak barang/parts yang cacat.
Kelihatannya ini yang jadi penyebab barang ini kaga laku, soalnya ongkos kirim balik dan repotnya itu loh, toko2 rc jadi pada ogah jual, padahal disain dan featuresnya mantab banget

mo nanya neh, kemaren itu liat track RCP di singapore, bahannya kaya foam getu, tebal, licin tapi empuk dan ban lengket banget tuh.
Kira2 bahan apa yang ada dipasaran indo yang bisa qta pake?
Kalo pake karpet khan banyak bulu2 karpet nyangkut, dah gitu maintenance karpet juga agak repot tuh bersihinnya. mohon saran rekan2 rc'er neh

ada yg mo coba mau pake karet lembaran.. ada temen saya lagi pesen ukuran 1m X 18m. menurut temen saya itu bahannya mirip spt yg suka di pake kyosho cup.. saya juga pengen coba.. kemaren ini coba pake karpet di balik.. wah nge grip banget & gak berbulu koq..

emang karpet pilihan yang utama selaen rcp track, di Tekka Mall singapore mereka juga pake karpet, cuman ya itu, ruangan mereka full ac dan tertutup rapet, nah tempat qta dikolam renang ruangan terbuka, jadi maseh ragu kalo pake karpet, debunya seabrek abrek, belum lagi banyak anak2 kecil suka basah2 dari kolam lari2an masuk ketrack, he he.. sekarang seh dah dikasih pager pake tali, jadi mereka gak masuk ketrack lagi.
Sekarang ini qta pake karet gulungan, sebetulnya untuk lapisin talang air, belinya ditoko bangunan; 1 gulung ukuran 50m x 1.20 m. Cuman pake ban karet kok kurang ngegrip, dibanding pake karpet wah ditikungan lengket banget. Terasa banget kalo dah pake mosfet, kalo dibejek 1/2 throttle tu mubil langsung melintir, jadi ditikungan musti lepas gas;
Nah, lembaran karet yang dimaksud dah dicoba belon? kalo boleh tau, lembaran karet itu biasanya dipake tuk apa?
Qta juga lagi liat2 foam warna warni tuk lantai tempat bermain anak2, tapi harganya gak murah. Trus katanya ada juga foam/karet tuk lantai senam/tinju?

Lapcounter tuk mini z
 

mo nanya lagi neh, tuk track mini z dikota kota laen pada pake lapcounter apa? Kalo liat2 diinternet selain amb, ada GIRO Z, harganya sekitar 500 USD, lalu ada lapcounter dari Robitronik Jerman, harganya sekitar 500 Euro
Minggu lalu waktu nonton race di Singapore, mereka pake Corespeedway laptiming system, katanya harganya sekitar 2000 Sindol. Keunggulannya ditransponder, pake teknologi baru, transpondernya kayak plastik tipis [dah ada perekatnya] dan harga transpondernya murah meriah [dijual waktu race S$ 20.-]. Om Erwin pake AMB yak?

terus terang belon pernah coba pake karet, tapi ini mau di coba.. rencana nya buat 1/18.
oh ya karet ini special order kata temen saya ke pabrik karet nya. (1X 18M)

juga lantai karet yg biasa di pake di ruang RUmah sakit juga belon pernah coba.. karena udah test pake karpet di balik udah ok.. jd gak coba yg laen.

Ya robitronic bagus juga.. wah merk corespeed? baru tau tuh...
AMB personal transponder saya pake udah lama problem nya sering blank saat throttle full. jadi mesti pasang di tikungan sempit sensor nya, juga ukurannya gede. trus mahal lagi!!

Pa Erwin, kalo diliat material track rcp bahannya polyurethane foam, nah, bisa dapet gak foam itu, kayanya biasa dipake untuk bahan pelapis/penahan dingin/panas ato untuk packaging tuh

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) also know as EPC - Electronic Product Code... which is supose to replace UPC(barcodes on products we buy)
Walmart is forcing the their top suppliers to switch to EPC by 2005. It basicly looks like a label with a small bump in the middle. The bump being a computer chip that has no power to it. But when scanned by a certain device, wakes up the chip and causes it to transmit a small block of data: ex. serial # or product ID. This EPC label is suppose to be getting cheap to make... like near pennies per label. With a scanner and PC and software, lap counting would be sweet.

Here is a link to a company that sales this type of system for tracking marathon runner events. They tie the very small device in the shoe strings. And when they cross over a mat, a scanner reads the chip and post there laps, and position.
Speed must not be a problem, because they use it in bicycle races too.

So much technology available, its hard to believe that a inexpensive, reliable lap counting system in not already for sale. I mean think about this: for the price of some of the systems out there now, I could buy 10 nokia cell phones and strap them to the cars and then trianglate there position with GPS. lol.. just kidding.
But check the info above... very interesting

Another thing to think about, will this interfer with the radio signals?

So many DIY foam and RCP tracks and no laps being counted, so sad.

MINI Z RACE DI SINGAPORE
 

Hi everyone, the Mini-Z Open Race date is 25th March 2007, the venue of the race is at Melwood Indoor Track (RCP).

Race starts at 3.30pm, please register before 3pm at the shop.

Fee will be at S$15nett per entery including a free can drinks. Lucky draw prices includes Mini-Z Formula Boat ($239), ASC,..etc.

Race format:, three 5 mins heat. (i.e. best of three heats. First 8 = A main, the next fastest eight racer will enter B main...etc.

Shop and track will be open from 12noon on Sunday.
Racer are advise to bring personnel charger as the inhouse charger may not be enough for everyone.

Race timing system: Corespeedway Lap Timer: Transponder are available at $20 per piece or you can borrow one when you enter the race.

All are welcome to take part in the race.

- Racers will need to participate in the QUALIFLYING ROUND before going into the FINALS.
- You will be racing with your same skill league of racers in your division after the qualiflying round.This will make the races more challenging & just.

Rules & Regulations
1) This race is open to all KYOSHO Mini-Z only. (MR01 , MR02 , MR015 or AWD Chassis)
2) Open to all motors.
3) Only KYOSHO auto scale covers are allowed.
4) Only rubber tires are allowed.
5) Only 4 AAA batteries are allowed.
6) Only AM 27 MHZ or AD Band are allowed.
7) All cars must be checked and approved by S.C .
All racers must stand on the platform at the inner aisle when racing.
9) There will be only 4 mains with 6 cars in each main, points will be accumulated each round to determine the overall series standings.
10) Final results based on best 8 race results.

1) A minimum of 2 Wide "L" RCP Tracks
2) Some sort of Timing System; Core Timing System, Kopropo Timing System, Laser Timing System. (We recommend the Core Timing System)
