Mod 2whl for me, MAYBE truck or a slash dont know.
So IS entry going to be like $15?
I heard rumors of $20 and I think that would be just a bit much.

2 New HCRC Videos on YouTube
I've met with Mark and Joe Hein. Turns out I know Joe from a previous life. Anyway, I too am PUMPED about this new track! We were just getting into it at Planet R/C when the place did the Titanic. Living in Brownsburg, HCRC is GREAT!
Follow this link and you will find two videos I made. One it the track itself, and one is the track with cars on it from last Saturday! We had a blast and it was just practice!

You can also search on YouTube under "Hendricks County R/C". The videos rock, so turn up your sound!

Entry fee's as follows
$20 First Class
$10 2nd
$5 3rd
It may seem high to some but, but if you happen to see the fuel bill for the heat and electricity you may think otherwise, let alone the $$$$$$$$$ that was put up just to secure the building and put in a track. With everything invested and operating costs I am hoping they will at least break even. I think once you are there and see everything everyone will see. It's also why we want to give longer run times for quals and mains. Hope nobody is discouraged from coming because of that.

Oh and if you're a really go getter, there's no fee for running a 4th or 5th class
#149
However, I hope they will offer a Father/Son team discount. I don't know if the ol' hobby budget can swing double fees every weekend!

Well, make that no second class for me.
I am happy to have a track and for sure want to support it. There is just a point to were some things are more than they are worth. To me $20 is too much for a club race. I'll pay it, but running a second class is out, and I might not be there as much. I didnt want to be the first person to say something, but everyone I talked to, betweeen 15-20 racers, agreed its too much.
You'll never be able to say for sure how many people didnt come as much because of it, but there will be many that wont race a second class on a weekly basis, $30 is a lot. Even at $25 for 2 classes thats still more than what Planet was charging or anyone else.
Anyway, I'll still be there this weekend.
