His views on the COVID situation that one, his views on gender and transgenders that 2. I can go on but hell just look at his Twitter and youll find several of his pointless and just odd rants

To be fair to Neil, he is not really an expert in either of those things. He is a very smart guy, but only really an expert in his particular domains(physics, space etc.). People abuse this and just take it to mean he knows everything about everything and ask him curveball stuff like current affairs and politics. I've seen a few interviews/podcasts featuring him, he tries his best to play along of course, with jokes etc. But you can tell he's uncomfortable to delve into those things. He probably gives a generic view on things or whatever his PR guy tells him to say. Or sometimes his own analysis of it, which may very well be something you disagree with. He is a scientist after all, and scientists disagree all the time.

Also, I'm disappointed with you going as far as Neil to get his views on gender and trans issues, when you have me over here to provide endless fun.

^ This.He seems pretty stable. I think he's too smart to take the bait and say something controversial and career ending. Increasingly hard to do today when everyone is offended by something.

Sir 51D3WAYS There is a simple thing called shutting the fuck up if you don't know a subject Neil should know this. He does not get pressured into anything he willingly puts out his view on a subject he has no knowledge of and then throws a pissy fit when someone calls him out on it and instead of accepting his error he acts condescending and talks down anyone who disagrees with him. Out of all the tv scientists, I think the only one remotely stable is Michio Kaku.

But that would make him a terrible interviewee. He's in pretty high demand by the whole podcast/talk radio/talk show circuit. He also probably realizes the platform he has and his position in the media limelight. So he has a delicate balancing act of playing to his fans, and being entertaining, and being a scientist, all while not scaring off the mainstream and ending his career.

I'm fairly sure people like him are coached heavily by PR types anyway, most people aren't used to handling the media.

This is what I was saying. I think he's smart enough to know where to toe the line, regardless of what he may actually think on a controversial topic.

It's like I am writing for nothing. Did you actually read what I said? He goes on rants by himself he is not being interviewed he just opens his mouth and says BS that is wrong like I said look at his view on gender self posted rant by him, not an interview. Now if he wants to be an entertainer then by all means go ahead but don't claim to be a man of science when what you are saying is clearly not scientific.
