there's parts of a couple neighborhoods i could easily walk to with smaller houses, 800 square feet give or take, mostly 2 bed, 1 bath, small kitchen, dinning room just big enough for 2, single car garage. lots are smaller, probably in the 42-4500 range. they're still almost 800k.

Does 800 square feet include the garage? we have 800 sq feet house here typically in the 160k mark but they don't typically have a garage. in Miami, they double to 320k and if it's downtown it can see the prices you guys are talking about.

In a good neighborhood, close to the center of the city, a 3bd, 2br, 900 sq./ft. home, with 4,000 sq/ft lot, just sold for $400k. Problem is, this house is a dump. It needs about $75k to make if livable. The house was also built in 1930.

It depends on who is in charge. The UK usually leans left, but do to all the issues they are dealing with, in regards to immigrants, they might start to lean to the right. I have a couple co-workers from the UK. They swore to never lean right, but once they got here and experienced our medical system and overall "Freedoms," as they call it, they started leaning right.
