@KD, Bio labs are of course relatively discreet affairs for obvious security reasons. Bear in mind that you do not want to alarm the general public. The general public are extremely risk averse and skittish at the best of times. Same goes for server farms. If you see a large, low building that resembles a warehouse but is completely unmarked and has hella security features, (cameras, foot patrols, access controlled gates, security fencing, etc.) and is located in an out of the way location or industrial park, now you know.

@ Sir - from what i hear China is starting to loose money as corporations move out in search of cheaper labor. iv also heard it's getting harder for them to find anyone willing to do business with them as doing business with them is starting to become stigmatized. people are starting to take note of to the power grabbing and shitty treatment of it's citizens.
also, climent change is Chinas fault. it's all those dirty ass coal power plants they have and keep opening.

You know you say that, but I have my doubts. Here's a recent story. Yesterday I went to IKEA for a new waste paper bin, to replace my current one cos it is soiled. Bear in mind this is a like-for-like replacement. Only difference is that the new one is a different colour. Old one was made in India, new one was made in China. Why, I have no idea, but being IKEA, the only reason this could have been the case was that it was cheaper. And China isn't that cheap anymore, just look at our RCs.

One thing the old man upstairs got right IMO, is the CHIPS act. You don't want your opps manufacturing critical chips that run your life, for obvious reasons. Ever since COVID, I hear some Japanese companies were doing similar. Also, pretty much all major clothing brands are having to declare they don't use cotton from Xinjiang.
