that just seems wasteful.

my dad has finally gotten into mix and is now cleaning. so the mold on the backdoors in the living room is gone. the blinds in the master bedroom and bathroom are clean. the mold on the windows in the master bedroom is gone. my dads talking about cleaning the master bathroom and it needs it the shower is a mess and the floor is dusty AF. and my mom is sitting on the couch playing with her tablet while slowly doing laundry.
and i fixed the lights outback in the gazebo. they're not falling down anymore.
good times. at least shits getting done.

I really don't understand what is the paranoia with modern electronics was reading how a dishwasher with Bluetooth is the start of Skynet, does that confuse anyone else? my parent's fridge has a wifi connection that can send alarms to their phone do they now have to worry about the fridge trying to kill them? also if it's that much of an issue why not buy old appliances? that is what I do and they still work just fine for the most part.

it's probably mostly sarcasm mixed with confusion. shit, why in the hell does a dishwasher or fridge need bluetooth or wifi? its a fucking dishwasher and fridge. i don't see how adding that makes ether any better. it's just more shit that jacks up the price then becomes a liability that will cost you money down the road when it stops working. both appliances have gone decades without said technology and it hasn't hindered there use at all. so why the fuck are we adding it? its a case of "just because you can doesn't mean you should".
