I must say it sucks to see everyone arguing about this. Why not leave everything exactly as it is. Why does the offroad track need to be bigger? Why does the onroad track need to be bigger? What to get that one national race every few years at best (whether it's on or off road), or add one class of racing (1/8th scale or mod tc). If both want a bigger track keep attendance up on the offroad side AND get more onroaders showing up, and both will probably get a larger track. For now I say to work on scheduling and maintenance of both tracks and leave well enough alone.

Racing would improve on a larger track to get people spread out a bit and have more passing lines. I've been lapped during a qualifier before I even crossed the loop one time.
Short tracks have their upsides as well, creates some intense racing, but can also get frustrating and make people burn out.

Ok I guess your source didnt tell you I had my aunt step dad and good friend pass away during the end of Oct and Nov? ...
Lets be clear im very pro-USVTA, but im more pro on road. I enjoy coming to the ATL and so does my girls. So me not coming to the GORC has nothing to do with rules. Also they are not "my" rules, they are the national rules that most tracks go by and see great entries from it

I don't run on or off road at HS.I have never liked running on a small offroad. If it where bigger and could run Ebuggy I would run there more. But I do have three other tracks I like to run on.So it really doesn't matter to me but if onroad wants a track they need to come run on it.

Whats this thread about I forgot?
Wednesday Night would be better for me than Friday. I can make a saturday every now and then if its a big race but Sunday is my normal day off.
Man I wish the track was open today... I just finally finished setting up the RB6 and need to run some laps. Next up after a week or two of testing is mid motor config.

Man power is not the issue. Approvals and legal stuff (zoning, land lord approvals, etc) are an issue, and the cost of materials is an issue. Not to mention, Brad has yet to make a final decision that I am aware of. It seems already decided, but it is not for anyone but Brad to finalize it.

I could make it a couple times a month, would depend on entry fee's, because I would still race every Friday night.
Maybe try an make Wed night all larger truck and ebuggy night, Friday would focus on the 2wd buggies, stadium truck, smaller stuff, etc. and then Sat run all classes
I really like what Shon is saying about the big east coast race, I say get ready as well, a race that that could put Hot Shots , an Marietta, Ga on the RC map.
