My understanding is they intend to water the track. I don't know if that plan has changed.

That's my plan Bo and I ask Looper earlier in this tred and he said come on! The only thing he said that it won't be no practice in the AM race start at 9:00

Thank you to all that came to support the 1st annual event. I think all in all it went very well. Rob did pics and should have them posted here soon and Ed will post results maybe tomorrow when he gets back to work. Again thanks to all parties involved and just maybe it will be bigger and better next year.

I had a blast! Thanks dalton crew and sweep racing USA for the great racing! Congrats to Austin Hughes winning sportsman nitro buggy and joining the sweep racing team.. Time to toss all those non sweep tires off the trailer wall! Also congrats to Jason gentry winning sportsman e buggy, splitting the ebuggy class gave someone else a chance to win!

Sorry you had a bearing blow out! I am super excited for Austin and Jerry to join team Sweep. As for Gentry he did do great but he could race with anybody! The whole Knoxville crew did great. You guys have some fast drivers for sure.

Had a great time - more of a social event this time as we had some troubles - but then again we had a lot of fun.. I still think my custom body was the ugliest.. but .. hey .. maybe next year!!

Here's a couple pics - still sorting them out

It was my first time at Dalton and though my results sucked I had a blast and will be back there to race. Good times. Good people. Great time.

Thanks to all who put on the event. Wish I wont that Sweep Sponsorship. I tore through some rubber this weekend.......

I had a great time as well. Thank you to the Weavers, Looper, and everyone who made the event a success. Gene and Looper, thanks for your help with setup and tire choice, and Chris for swapping my 2wd buggy diff while I marshalled.

And just because it was the Sweep Shootout, I'd like to say that Square Armors and Exagons were awesome to me all weekend. The Exagons had better wear, but the Squares gripped a little better.

Thank you again everyone for a fun weekend!
