Would they not let you have the key for a day! Or have someone come by and do the phony lock thing?

So far the accuweather thing is saying rain Frday night, ends about 8 Sat. morning, the sun comes out after lunch about 1pm. If that's the case then the race is on! And should be pretty nice.

Looks like the rain will be over on Saturday morning. Should be plenty of time to dry things out before racing starts.

I'm not 100% sure on George's Rules but I think GP2(4 cell F1) is limited to stock 27T motors. The Tamiya Sport Tuned is a 23T motor so I would think it wouldn't be legal.

Best bet, go straight to the horses mouth. Ask George.

For some reason I was thinking it was just a 27t motor with something different done to it. Guess I'll be swapping out motors again. Thanks Shaun.

George F1 I believe he follows the rules at www.RCF1.com dont bother unless you can read french.

Silver cans are not required for this. Direct drive and 4WD run together. Direct drive use 27t or 17.5 and 4WD can use 19t or 13.5. 6 cell and 4 cell run in separate classes. Lipo can be substituted for Nimh or NiCad only in the 6 cell class.

Correct me if Im wrong.

Hey now, I demonstrate on a weekly basis I'm a newbee. I just spread my lack of driving skills around is all. Trying to get a car for this vintage stuff now. You need to get one of those too GT. Sounds like a class made for us.

A long day is over and though I am sore in places that I care not to mention, it was all well worth it. I had fun. I really enjoyed the layout of the track. With the exception of this funny divit that oddly enough tossed more touring cars onto their roof than I have ever seen in one day. I dont know if thats worse than the puddle from two weeks ago or not. I wish I had pictures so we could do it again the same way next time. With some sort of change to get around the car flipper.

Melvin was in the Zone. In spite of smoking a 13.5 and mother nature tearing the pit apart over there. It was an excellent performance in spite of a daisy chain of mechanical failures. The X-ray held up great. It was all the little things that go on it that gave him a hard time.

To Melvin, Ryan and Shaun Mac- thanks for coming up. I hope you had fun in spite of the misfortune in your pit. Even though it couldnt be forseen I still feel bad about that. I hope everyones damage proves to be far less expensive than what it would seem.

Coop thanks for coming down and for all your help. George- For the rental F1. We didnt do to bad did we.

Thanks again every one I hope you had a blast.
