Default Thunder RC Results 1-20-2008

For those wondering how things went in Nashville, here are the results.

Thunder RC On-Road Race Results - 1-20-2008

Thanks to everyone at Thunder RC for making it worth the long drive up! Rubber touring anyone? Skeen? Dirla? EA? Bueller? Bueller?

I don't run rubber tires on carpet heck I've only raced rubber tire touring 5 or 6 times total on asphalt...

I'll probably run at coopers some this summer so if you want a piece you'll have to wait LOL

i don't claim to be fast on rubber tires so no worries for you there

As good as you are on foams, I'm sure you will be very fast on rubber tires also. I'll see you in Kissimmee at the Snowbirds.

last time I ran rubber I had a bmi tc3 that thing was a PIECE with rubber tires LOL

I'm hoping my rdx will be a vast improvement over that car. lol

see everyone at the birds... if I recooperate in time.

I got really sick on monday passed out twice fever of 102+ and almost broke my nose may be they really weren't sure it was pretty cool though blood everywhere when I passed out face first into my door... they put me on some type of antibiotic today and I ended up being allergic which only made things worse..

so now I'm on a z-pack and loritabs or however you spell the good drugs...

if anyone talks to ryan fenstemacher please let him know that I'm really sick and not even sure if I'll get to go he was wanting to ride down together, but if I do go I'd hate to get anyone else sick if I can move by then without passing out. I was told 7-10 days from today before I'd be back to about 70 percent whatever I got was NASTY... I hope I didn't give it to anyone sunday at the race.

later

Michael

Not surprising. You guys should turn some heat on in the track room. /8) Seriously though, hope you're better in time for the birds.

it wasn't the lack of heat in there... that was WARM you should've raced offroad those guys are CRAZY they were in a 20 degree room with the doors open racing now thats just STUPID!!!

this isn't a cold its a severe upper respiratory infection... I haven't been this sick in my life EVER I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Just so you know Joe... ask dirla how I drove at a big race last time I was sick LOL its the best finish I've ever had at a big race 3rd and I was only about a second and a half or so out of first. my magic formula is 1 part tylenol cold and 2 parts nyquil.

I've used that method to qualify for the A at the halloween classic and the us indoor champs with a 3rd and a 7th place finish LOL

nah no excuses man I feel like I've been hit by a mac truck.

I don't think you could claim that with any tires.

Don't worry. Skeen has a whole book of them. I think he got most of them from Dirla.

your one finish at the novak race in the weenie class doesn't count...

I may be sick but not dead and as long as I'm not dead I'm pretty sure I got you beat

course you'd have to race...

I'm shocked you went for the "I'm sick" excuse and not the "I fell off the stand and twisted my knee" one.

everyone should note one important thing...

only an arrogant ahole would quote himself LMFAO hell even I don't do that.

sorry man lol

and if you are going to try and make a joke at least get it straight...

I didn't twist my knee I ripped/tore the tendons and ligaments in my knee.
it was a previous injury from when I was 17 and it never totally healed.

so when you coming back to racing or you still trying to polish that turd of a losi into a real race car?
