Still had a stash of parts from before and I had always planned on running Lipo. I guess I should pile the lead on, but I'll prob run it light. I don't think the car is bad, but I do understand that there is no development.

hey shaun mac first of all you would have to pick it up anyway as michael did run rubber once last summer at our track and turned 27 laps. he then put the foams back on as he couldn't keep up with our 28 laps we were getting in foam. and how did I get dragged into this slug fest?

SHHH you weren't supposed to tell him that LOL

that was with my foam tire setup and 2 diffs

yeah I was bored with running 5 cells and still beating them so I thought rubber tires would slow me down a little didn't realize it would be THAT SLOW... lol

I went back to foams the next week...

Can't wait to return to Thunder RC and get some more time on the track. Maybe it won't be freezing next time I'm up there.

For my first race running rubber on a larger carpet track it wasn't too bad. I would of had 27 laps in the main but had a few bad laps and after the race my left front tire was split around the outside. I was wondering why the car was hooking badly to the right. Still had fun though.

I vacummed the track and got down to a 9.8 in 19t 12th scale and was doing 10.1s at the end so the track is still ok. might vacumn it before the mains sunday

Robert - Did you vacuum up a lot of rubber chunks from the carpet?

Wish I could come up this weekend for one more practice before going to FLA. Next time I'm be able to come to Nashville will be in Feb.

I think I would be sick to see my name on all the crap they are selling these days. Why they had to ruin the Losi name when they could have kept it under SpeedWorks (Werks?) or Dynamite is beyond me. I am looking forward to seeing what Kyosho comes out with, if anything.

You know what though. I think for what it cost the Drift RTR version of that car is a lot of machine for the money. Wouldnt take much to run TC with it. and it will work well in the drift market.

You are right though. RTR central, it seems like a sad story for Gil to go with Kyosho while competing with the company that bears his name.
