To the gentleman that helped me with my TC4 VTA at 301 today (sorry I have a terrible memory, you were driving the beautiful 2016 red Mustang) THANKS so much for your help and putting up with a new "racer". And by the way after you left the car was running on rails !!! The best it has ever run, of course I had turned in my transponder, so don't know my times but handled GREAT.
Thanks for the help the guy with the Gold Firebird. (Ralph)

I just learned today that 301 Raceway is now on-road and I'm thrilled!
I raced there about a year ago (off-road) because it was the closest place, even though I didn't really like off-road. The guys there, staff and racers, were great. I got tired of off-road so I left and started running on-road in Ft. Myers, but quit after a few weeks because the drive was too long.
So learning about on-road at 301 is like getting a green light!
I'll be dropping in Tuesday to learn about classes, rules, and schedules to figure out what classes I'll be racing there.
SWEET!

I've seen the VTA cars and they are really cool. However, I tend to be more of a Pan car guy.
I'm considering oval such as the spec mods and other classes, or on-road looking at spec 175 and 1/12th scale. How is the turnout in these classes?
I would probably be most active on Friday nights because I prefer week night racing and keeping my weekends open.
