Great day of racing. We ran an accelerated race program with one qualifier and triple A-Mains due to the threat of rain, but the rain never came. Except for some Hurricane force wind gusts that sent tents flying, the weather was perfect. We had lots of close racing. 17.5 had a different winner in each A-Main, with Jared Cooper taking the overall win over Jesus on a tiebreaker. Congrats to all of the winners. We look forward to seeing everyone at the 2018 ROAR Paved Nationals (April 26 - April 29) in Ft. Myers. Our next race is May 6th.

Unfortunately Mother Nature shortened the race day. But thanks to everyone that came out. We'll do it again on June 10th. There's a FSEARA race at Minnreg on June 3rd.

My son is starting off-road racing and I think he may enjoy onroad as well like I did years ago. Is usgt a good class to start in?

Is USGT a popular class down here? Are there always people racing it at village? Coral Springs is doing an onroad track soon as well. Want to make sure the class I get equipment for will have people.

I think 17.5 TC is your best bet (above poster). It is the most common class and will be run at Coral Springs. USGT had a good following at the Village. It is unclear whether USGT will have a following at Coral Springs.....too early to tell.

I have some free sets of Touring Car tires for you. Believe it or not, used tires work better at the Village, hence this is more affordable racing.....

So you would say 17.5 is best ? That was my plan but figured slower would be better and my son would love the corvette etc bodies but of course I want to build to whatever is always going to have racers

How old is your son? We're trying a drive what you bring class for kids. The average age of the kids were under 10.

21.5 might be better starting out. Plus it's a body and tire change to run usgt.
