We always receive requests to have practice days like we did years ago when we had a permanent Drivers Stand. It's not currently possible to have regular practice days, due mostly to the level of effort required to setup the track. We decided to have a practice day instead of a race in December to satisfy these requests for practice days. Additionally at this time of year (December/January), our race attendance is usually lower than normal. On practice days we usually setup heads-up races through-out the day if the racers are interested.

A perfect day for practice. The weather was great and the traction was high. Thanks again to all of the racers for making this a great year at Village Raceway. We hope to see everyone next year for our next race (1/7/2018).

I hope others chime in, but I think a 6.5-10.5 turn motor will be fine. I am using a 13.5 and I feel it is very competitive.
