Almost finish building my car for Sunday, just need to know which gearing are you using for the track, or which final radio is good for the track (17.5 motor)

I used 64 pitch 92 spur and 50-52 pinion.

Is this for the T4-16? The final ratio for that combination is 3.4, is that correct??

does anyone know a shop near the track to get the spur-pinion ?or if anyone has the spares spur and pinion for sale?? Is for a tamiya 419.

Hi Jorge,

There is a guy that has a small hobbyshop at the track. I believe his spur gears will fit your car. If he does not have Pinions don't worry, there are a bunch of us that have a wide selection and I am sure that you can borrow one. I would suggest getting to the track on the early side so you can install the spur etc....

You want to start at 3.5 and go from there.

Thanks to everyone that came out and raced today. Unfortunately we couldn't run the Mains because of a typical South Florida afternoon thunderstorm. We hope everyone had a good time with the racing we were able to complete. Once again the Southland Bombers did not disapoint, as they were the most entertaining class of the day. We hope to see everyone in a couple weeks for our FSEARA race on October 15-16.
