4wd buggy - broke an A-arm, and broke a hub
E-buggy - spur gear lost about five teeth.

All this, and I still had a blast hanging out, shooting the shhhh.

Many, many thanks for the extended qualifiers and the mains! And many thanks for all the crew does.

Congrats to the racers putting down some impressive times and to Jessica and Jeff for battling for the bumps.

I haven't been to the track in quite some time but am looking forward to returning . I was wondering do the ( My Laps ) transponders still work there .

I believe that all My Laps transponders do work at Coral Springs.

This Sunday November 10, 2013 we will be having a Dry Run Dirt Oval Race. We'll be testing and using new equipment to make sure the next Dirt Oval Pre-Grand Opening Race on November 24, 2013 can go off without a hitch. The race fee is $5. This fee will cover as many classes as you'd like to run. We encourage all racers (Dirt Oval and Off Road) to come on out and give it a try. I checked it out last Sunday and had a blast.

Also, mark your calendars for our Grand Opening Weekend Event presented by the Coral Springs RC Track and TriCounty Hobbies on December 14 & 15, 2013. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place "A" Main drivers will receive trophies. There will be raffles going on throughout the entire weekend and conclude with a $50 and $100 TriCounty Hobbies Gift Card. Finally, the Grand Prize of a Losi 22 2.0 Kit will be raffled off.

Alright guys, I was finally able to upload that vid from last week's 8th scale race (11/3/13). I was experimenting with Slowmo on my iPhone to see how much detail I could pick up and oh boy! The car taking a tumble into the last turn is Jose Robles. Was trying to add a little music to drown out the odd sound of the slowmo but couldn't find a fitting tune so I went with something I like.

Sunday – Race Day (Off Road) | Gates Open 8am | Racing Starts 10am
* The practice fee will be $5 per track. If you run on both tracks, it will cost $10. Please, no testing or trying out. You must have a R.O.A.R. membership & wristband to run.

I wanted to see how well the slowmo worked and it's astonishing how much detail you can see in terms of how hard the suspension is working at all times. Watching it in real time most of that is lost, but in slow motion you can see the tires dig in and bite and how the suspension and camber change constantly. Really, really cool.

Next time I want to try lying down on that corner and get a closer view from a low angle. I think it will look awesome!
