The other Indoor carpet track

How many more do you really need?!

Lakeland is still close enough to Tampa to be reasonable, as well as Orlando, Kissimmee, parts of Pasco Co, etc...

just sayin...

Lake Park is an 1/8th scale outdoor track that is falling apart, B&B is in Hudson and the Plant City track is mainly carpet oval racing...I could say the same Tampa is close enough to Lakeland..........

Make it a reasonable distance to Orlando and I'll be out there all the time. I drive 1.5 hours to NewRed because it's well kept, indoors, the pits are great, etc. Do those things and you'll have a winner. That's what The Asylum did and it was a winner until politics got involved. So watch your back and make sure your ass is covered.

plant city track is only oval 2 days a month. check your facts. the offroad track is completely separate from the onroad and is always open.

Why are you guys arguing??? RBPorn is asking if there is any interest.
Short answer: We all would like a great indoor off-road facility in our back yard.

Good luck RBP, I hope you find something!... In Winter Haven.

Just go outside of the city limits and into the county rural area works great

Thumbs up

This is a great idea in tampa we have many racers of all classes nitro,electric,1/0,1/8 and u could make the track for both 1/10 and 1/8 friendly by having extra lanes with bigger jumps for 1/8 and then close up for a shorter track for 1/10 the rain here in florida makes running a good concistent program very difficult so indoor is the way to go but to make it happend in tampa it must be a non profit org. This is how lake park is run If u are willing to go this way u will avoid many fees and hassle from the city the ideal would be to have a hobby shop near by so u can profit from the advantage of having the track very close by.no matter where in florida u do it we will support but in my opinion tampa would be the premier location is simply the center of it all, Good luck and thanks im sure many people are already looking foward to race at your track soon.

I would think between central florida would be better cause you get the tampa and orlando crowd that is the 1's that are true racers and supporters and willing to drive at least an hour and not just the I aint going to drive an hour to play with my $600 buggy guys....
