5 DAYSI bought one of those new MyLaps transponders, you know the little one that snaps into the holder. Has anybody used one yet and if so any problems?

Lucky with the rain, but it was a little warm.
We had the a brand new racer.... DJ Apolaro's son Dominick.
He was back and forth between 1/10th and 1/8th scale. DJ thinks he is hooked.

Coming from Sebring, Nick and his father were both taking turns at getting to know the track.

Drew S. (Mugen Drew) brought new on-road racer, Sean Farmer.
Sean, trying out on-road after running Off-Road, was all over Drew. We are not sure of the exact lap times (sure Drew knows and will post), but he was solid in his Ninja powered Mugen.

Martin Johnson teamed up with Jim Sowa to work on Martin's car. Jim made many adjustments. At the end, it put a smile on Martin's face.

Jim Sowa got help on Saturday from Joe Sumaski and Chuck Parson. Jim says, "Now I need more motor."

Lucas G busted out a 12.3 second lap with a motor that he says was awesome. His car was stuck. It was all up to the driver.

Making a return to racing... Richard Fine. It has been a few months. We believe he turned his fastest lap ever after a few adjustments, a different body (R12 from a central), and newer tires.

Bill Graham was happy... after changing a front belt. Karla kept him in line which is a full time job.

Jim Rice ran a little but spend most of the time breaking in Julian Hope's two new Flash NovaRossis.

I can see the writing on the wall already. He has the energy that I surely can not match. I have to find a way to pace him or I am going to have to get a pace maker to keep up.

We will see if he is be able to run in the state series. Not sure if he will be ready, although he thinks he is now..... He did better than I though for a first timer, so one never knows. Maybe if I get him on a track about 5 more times before the first race he may be OK.

Lets see how it goes,

Thumbs up

DJ

Let him race! That's what I am doing with my daughter, you can take them out by them self but they won't really grasp it until a lot of other cars are out there with them. Just tell him the old saying "In order to win a race, you must first finish the race." What I keep telling Kaitlyn we are working on the finishing part first.

!The TRACK ROCKS!Two day test and tune on the new and incredibly improved test track to the world...priceless! Running a gallon of fuel on 1 and 1/4 of a set of tires...KICKS @$$! Breaking an engine in when everybody else is ready to race...stinks or can be a little frustrating. SUPER STAR hillBILLY GRAHM. please put the B.O.R.D. away, it's fading your race car skillz.

Richard Fine somehow picked up a screw in his front drive belt. Couldn't do that again.
