not sure if mod slashes have an advantage, we ran them together on friday night, with a stock truck and 6 cell Nimh, the mods were down at least 2 laps. we are running them on the regular track, hard pack clay so horse power in those trucks does nothing for you. they are fun to run, we had 9 on the track, good times.

"All vehicles are limited to (15 turn 540) or (12 turn 550) motors."
I'd be willing to bet that my Castle 4600 motor isn't as fast as a 15T brushed motor. I'm not about to buy old technology just to race.

As a track owner, I do not make the class rules. We had 9 Slashes running and the stock whipped up on the mods...The guys who spent the $$ for brushless had nooo chance on the track..
I do not care what guys run as power in this class, as long as the Trucks are on an even playing field. Suspension changes should be okay, as we will test tires at this Friday Nite racing.
Bring what you have and let's see what it does against one of the largest Slash classes racing right now on a weekly basis. Before any trips on the rules, we should test different equipment and see what works. As we already have seen, anything other than stock is getting a mud hole stomped in them.
Farmers does not live by rules made by other tracks, so come on out.....

WOW, is this turning into the Farmer's Slash thread...
Hi Greg, thanks for showing interest in our thread and I really hope you and your racers come out and join us Dec 7th for the "JConcepts Bash".
The standard Slash Class will follow the stock motor rules, but we are willing to have an open motor/speedo class. We will have a required minimum entry of 6 or more to make the class though.

I'm not so worried about being able to drive my Slash as much as the rules are a bit archaic. The motor rules for the short course class are:
"All vehicles are limited to (15 turn 540) or (12 turn 550) motors."
I'd be willing to bet that my Castle 4600 motor isn't as fast as a 15T brushed motor. I'm not about to buy old technology just to race.
