At that time, we can decide if it is feasible to allow more than one brand (if they are similar in speed) or just spec one brand (if they are too far apart in speed). As we all know alot can happen in the 4 monthes we have until race number one of the 2008 season.

Agree or disagree?
I think you may final have something. I can agree with this. I still like my Novak motor since I can use them both for right now oval and on road.

Motor prices are not an issue now- I've got a hobbyshop up here that will sell them if ordered in a lot at wholesale. So what ever BL motor we could choose for the series it could be done..........

Bill, thanks for that suggestion....

BTW Fast Track already made that offer to the series at the end of last season. I like to support the shops that support the series.

A little update to those BL peeps... I talked with David Lee from the excomm about the working group they have for rules on BL spec motors. They are close to an agreement, but do not have anything finished yet. The Novak and LRP motors should be very close to the spec... we will see...

We are working with two manufacturers and have a third being contacted..as far as working with our series for next year.... More to come.... We have to see what all the offer are.

We have over two months until the vote... things can change in a hurry....

Marcos why do you insist in stirring the kettle??????? Cant we just leave batteries alone until we get the motors sorted? Nimh cells work just fine. albeit they have had durability issues this past year and a half.
