Before 10:00 it was definetly slick!

At the end of open practice I saw a 10.5 class car traction roll at a hairpin, so I'd say the new surface was "promising"

More entries in 13.5 please!

Actually, this was the first time for me running with brushed/brushless on the same track (practice). I'll have to say, the 13.5 (Novak) is pretty even with a GOOD stock motor. Take it for what it's worth.
See you next month!

Talking Next scheduled race at Superior Hobbies

Due to unforseen circumstances with mother nature, we got rained out on our October race event. We did finish our awards presentation for our Summer Sizzler Points Series and handed out some great prizes to all those who completed the Series. Over $3000.00 worth of prizes were given out thanks to our generous sponsors!

Our next scheduled race event will be scheduled on Sunday November 4, 2007

I was a bit disappointed about the rain because the track layout really looked fun! Our track area was sprayed with a new coating and what I seen during practice is that traction seemed to be really good.

We did start 2 new Touring Brushless classes! We had a full class registered for 10.5 and 4 entries in the 13.5 class. We need more 13.5 racers please!!! Both brushless classes will be heads-up qualifying - meaning all racers will line up on the grid and leave at the same time. 2nd round will resort positions putting all the fastest qualifiers in the back and slowest up front. Main event will start with TQ position on back. Both classes will be 8 minutes - similiar to 1/12 scale. Novak, LRP, and Orion brushless motors are allowed. Any 6-cell NiMH or 7.4 2cell Lipo is allowed with 5000mAh max limit. All cars MUST WEIGHT 53 ounces.

For all those who registered at this last race will have a pre-paid entry for November's race. ALL RACERS MUST RE-REGISTER - YOU JUST DON'T PAY! If you are not able to make it next month we will forward your rain certificate to the following month.

Once again, I would like to thank everyone who has supported us throughout the years. We do our best to try and offer one of the best R/C racing programs in Florida!

Looking forward to our next race! I need to hookup my car for that 10.5 brushless class!

Best Regards,
Ken Higby
