Pivot ball bushing, spur gear
Ran the Roche 2016 last night in stock setup on a high grip asphalt track. I'm not sure if i should post this in the 2016 thread or here, but i really need some help.
1. Front arms kept hopping like rabbits on steroids during high speed corners with snapping sound of metal rubbing against metal. I believe it's the king pin rubbing against the pivot balls.
(All pivot balls are free with no binding. 7k shock oil on the king pin shaft.)
2. I used pliers to pinch the front arms pivot ball bushing to remove the binding. I think i overdid it. Now the pivot balls pop out very easily. Is there a better solution? I've read in the Roche 2016 thread that Xray bushings will fit. Is this a good solution?
3. Stripped the spur. Noticed it's not perfectly centered. Is there a better alternative?
Thanks very much in advance!

I added weight under the bell crank, approx. 2 oz. of tungsten
I also set it up for 1.5mm of droop in the front.
With the 16 kit I had to go to shorter standoffs to gain ground clearance.
I haven't had problems with the pivots popping out, so I'm not sure about that...
I noticed the spur was running out also, I use a Kimbrough 92 when I run a ball diff. 99% of the time I use a gear diff with a 92

Thanks sg1! Will try that.
Is the hopping front wheels n rubbing metal sound due to the front being not heavy enough?
Where i am i don't have easy access to Kimborough spurs. Only Xray n Roche spurs. Will the Xray work better? What is the go-to spur for this car? Thanks!

If you wanted I can ship gears to you.
Not sure about the metal sound, are you sure it's from the front suspension?
Can you post a picture of the set up?

Thanks for offering sg1!
I just got the Xray bushings n spur. Will try them out n update the results.
Please refer to the photos n video. It's stock setup except i used shorter 10mm front standoffs.
Note that during my first run, the track had a left turning high speed sweeper. Hence car rolled right. Thus, you'll notice that the graphite pattern chassis protector has most of its wear on the right side too.

-remove spacers from rear wing mount or use much shorter (bring wing closer to rear axle)
-remove shim from under steering block (add droop)
-less steering turnbuckle angle (change Akerman)
-add weight under bellcrank (2oz. min.)
-Try batteries inline
-Try raising shock at upper pod plate mount
