I'm really liking the Xpert 3402 servo so far. I've run it a bit on asphalt with a solid aluminum horn and so far seems very durable. I ran futaba previously and would strip the metal gears when running the solid aluminum horn.

Thx - but was asking the best servo Horn? Coincidentally I will be running the xpert 3401 I had just serviced. Best horn to use? Thx

If you check Bruno's car, he's using the ARS post from the 2015 model as the shim (attached to the servo horn).

As alecladanga mentioned I will do the same setup as Bruno has. The ARS post plus a 5mm ballhead screw on one site and most likely a 6mm button head screw which goes through the back of the servo horn from the servo site.

Isn't there a better servo horn that doesn't require this much work? This is my first onroad car bought used so sorry if this had been answered but couldn't find it
The steering horn is 2mm thick. So I used a 10 mm ballheadscrew and two 4mm shims. While it does work and I also ran a few batteries with it I do not really like that this is only held together with the 2mm thread.

If this is your first car stick with the servo saver which is on there, it is quite sturdy. To be honest I just switched to the other one because I like tinkering with the car.
