Your incorrect there, as the bearing is captive, and not close to the top deck even as it is in the 16. The layshft has not been lowered, just material removed from the the top of the holders.
I think they created another option by just lowering the holders - you can either shim the topdeck or add shims and screws to the layshaft as before. Plus now you can leave it without screws and shims, where it only touches the bearing which probably offers something in the middle in terms of flex. |

The RSD layshaft bulkheads for the original T4 had the layshaft lowered .5mm with the stock bearing size and worked fine. |

Hopefully have it by Monday ready for a shakedown run on Friday. Xray seem to have approached this very differently to normal. We usually get a pre-announcement announcement followed by the announcement, then the wait and finally it starts showing up in shops. I've not seen any marketing for this other than them saying they were going to preview it at the worlds (then they failed to do so!). Very unlike Xray. |

Can't really speak for the pre-worlds teaser, etc. But in the future you will see kits available in most places at the time of announcement.
I'm looking forward to reading the slick press release telling me how it's going to make me a lot faster :tire::tire::tire: |

I'm surprised they've changed as the hype seemed to work.

The girl with the sprayed on shorts from Hudy arena ETS? A world championship? The word 'optimised' printed on the box 453 times? A link to the CAD files to save VBC some work in cloning it? |
