Lol... yeah. taking the tire off, and doing the ring is better. But getting it on and off is a chore. I rate those tires though. Niiice.

Incidentally, has anyone tried the tamiya drift spec tires? Are they plastic or rubber?

Pit Shimizu's and the yoke rubbers are rubbish.

i think the tamiya drift tires are rubber because i remember looking at the drift kit box and said special hard rubber with the two sides different compounds so yea i think it is rubber

but i do know i want to try them out

alright went for the last two nights and BAM i got this rtr xxx-s dialed out for drifting...well sort of and well it just needs one more tune up on the wieght ratio...but other than that i am surprised how fast i got this thing up...

thedudeaturdoor...do you run the rtr or the graphite???

also ill get some pics of my stiffener mod for the rear but ill only use it if your running the rtr xxx-s chassis and shock tower...i made like a cross strut tower and well im happy that i made it because just looking at it make me feel like a killer on the turns

dont worry henry and paz...i wont retire up my dorifto tc3 because i just have too much pride on it...LOL

hmmmmm just went out an ran the TC3 which was a baaaaaaaaad idea we had light drizel which made the tarmac really slippy but i still went ahead the car was spinning on half throttle with on-road rubbers on it was that bad but i still went on for a high speed run the back end stepped out just as it hit top speed span round 3 or 4 times no control at all front end clipped the ramp to the pavement took off landed upside down ripped the muffler kit off through the shell rear wing dug in flipped it over onto its side and slid to a stop got home checked the car over i destroyed the heatsink with fan snapped 3 fins off the fan not sure how ripped the left rear tyre off the rim and scratched me new shell up so its back to the 19 then
