For club racing, rears should be ok out of the packet (52/53 ish i think). Front's i'm not so sure, kind of depends what the biggest you can fit on - i would guess you wouldn't want much bigger than 45mm.
For racing, generally i go for about 49 rear, and about 43 front. depends on the track/adative. In the UK we run odourless, which i find generally doesn't last quite so long into the run, so you have to run a little bigger than some cars do. Also, you can't go much lower than 46 and you run out of ride height adjustment

I found I had to get my fronts down to about 44mm in order to get my ride height down to about 4-4.5mm. Any more tire and the car was just too high.... with all-but-one of the front washers on the bottom.
I tried running all washers on the bottom, but found the arm would scrape the inside of the wheel.

my front kingpin, or whatever you call it, where you put the front ride height spacers, had some play, so it would shift down and rub the wheel, it was stiff enough that i did not notice it at first....make shure its shimmed correctly so there is no slack.

You can get a pack or 0.5 and 0.1mm king pin spacers, should never have play if you have 0.1 spacers!!
Yeah i have had that problem with the wheel rubbing with the washers all in the bottom. So i guess 44 is the biggest you can go with the short pivot balls on the wishbones.

Ok, after putting an order in for a whole front end, the question I have is:-
Is there a GOOD STRONG bumper that will fit this car???
Seems I need one more than I thought....
$40 a pair for wishbones????????

12M Euro
I am posting this for a friend who lost his password to make postings
I need to get a few questions
answered for the 12M Euro
1) With the shims as called for in the instructions, the T-Plate is
below the chassis by +/- 1mm. Is this correct?
2) The tweek screws are set into a adjuster bar. How much pre-load
should be on this? The bar bends as more pressure is applied.
3) Should the wider rear axel be used? What is the benefit by using
it? Better big asphalt tracks, small carpet tracks.
4) Is there any good type of bumper for the car?

1, No, i wouldn't run the T Bar below the chassis, either space the mounts up further, or remove spacers from the ball. I run 1.5mm spacers on the mounts, and what ever matches to keep flat on the ball.
2, Hard to describe, but just a little preload, so that you can see that the front of the bar is a touch higher than the back
3, personally i run the wider axle, keeps that back of the car much more stable.
4, not aware of one specifically for the 12M.
