Hey new to this on-road stuff, and tamiya's TT-01, what does everyone use for servos? I plan to use this car to get me into racing, outdoor, asphalt.

Any standard servo will work, Metal gear servos are better. Personaly i like any Hitec metal gear servo.

I used to have a Futaba 3050 metal geared servo and it worked great but the gears messed up so i got the 3305 and it seems to work almost just as well. For esc's, i used to run stock, then upgraded to a Dynamite Tazer and it seemed to give it a little more power.

The only place I have grease on right now is inside the diff where the three little bevel gears play... LOL I was thinking about putting some on the outside of the diff gear. I guess I will.

One thing Paul Lemieux helped me with when he came to our track for the RC America Xray challenge is the handling of the car. He said to pack the front diff with AW grease and it would handle 10times better beacuse it is causing the front wheels to rotate at the same speed. So i did and it felt so much better than it did before. It might slow you down a little but it is worth it for the handling.

Painted up a new body today and i love the colour! I love how it came out so i though i would share! Enjoy, let me know what you think!

The blue lambo is the one with all the red parts and is wating for a brushless/lipo set up. The green lambo with sliver parts has a 15x2 Peakracing/Tazer ESC running on 4200 NiMH Batterys.
