Are you referring to clicking noise under hard accelleration?
My TT01 have started doing this in the last leg of our TCS. I think the meshing of the 25/55 gears is too loose. Try mounting the motor using the holes for 24T pinion. The mesh should be tighter but still loose enough for the gears to spin freely.

I get the 'clicking' sound when I use my 11T motor. It is the pinion gear trying to strip the spur.
When that happens and you check your spur, you will see the pinion being stripped. Either that or your spur has been stripped.
Or your motor mount is loose due to heat from the mount melting the plastic at the side of the chassis.
To remedy, use aluminium foil to fill the sides so that the mount does not move..and use a higher turn motor...I'm using 17T now..just need to test it to see if the gears can take this kind of abuse..
Was thinking of using my MM5700...but decided against...don't think the chassis or rather, motor mount can take it...and the gears as well..
from my experience..just to share..

I tried using 1 motor mount position lesser than recommended, e.g. use A instead of B position. That did solve the problem...for a while...before the stripping started again...then i realised it was the whole motor mount having too much play...so it strips the gears...quite a bad design flaw...
But still..I still love the TT01 cos its bash-worthy! and Rally-worthy!

the car stop
hi folks,
im new ere, and need your advice
i bought tt-01 almost a month and playing it 5x
while im playing the other day without hitting anything the car stop, i turnn off the power for a while, upon turning on the esc just blink and the servo move to the left, then the power fade. to make the story short its not responding now everytime im turning it on.
i connect the battery directly to the motor to check if its ok. and the motor respond.
in your opinion which is defective my servo or my esc?
if so can i fixed it without replacing?
thanks!

hi to all
i know now whats wrong with my car,
i tried to run it again and it works.
accidentally it hits the ramp and its stop again
now every time it hit something it stop.
so the problem is the power connector or battery,
i will try to replace with the dean connectors
i hope it will solve the prob.

But 20/61 or 21/61 is really short. With a 23T Motor I go up to 25/55 or 27/55 on larger outdoor tracks.

I have a 27T motor.
I can't get the 57 and 58 tooth spur gears right now, unless someone can send them to me
Glad to hear your car is working again! I had the same problem...only I forgot about it. Tamiya plugs, which is what I assume you had, can be really loose sometimes. Deans are definitely the way to go.

It's better to charge them in the battery pack. Disassembling and reassembling them is a hassle and... just don't do it.
Do you have a stick pack?
Do you have a charger for a 7.2 volt pack? Just let us know what you have for equipment, like what kind of battery and charger.
