I'm trying to track one of these down also. Anyone know of any place that has one in stock. I know stormer and horizon are out of stock, im on stormer notification list and horizon says late February. I'm planning on calling TQ Hobbies in Florida tommorow. Thanks!

my lhs has one in stock. not sure on the price. they price things decent though.

Will a hudy diamond bit fit the fantom?

I just chipped mine by not paying attention.......

Or anywhere else do a diamond bit that fits?

do you guys have any recommendations for diamond bit replacements? i just butchered mine..and need to replace it.

stormer have them for $95....but was hoping to pick one up for slightly less, but I guess that may have to do!

hey guys

i just got my Fantom lathe about 3 weeks ago that i pre-ordered in NOV.

BUT IT WAS EVERYBIT WORTH THE WAIT

i also heard they make them in runs of 50 and wait till they have 25 pre-ordered

For anyone needing to have your diamond bit repaired,contact Carter diamond tool company it's far cheaper to repair than to replace and they can repair any kind of diamond tooling, http://www.carterdiamond.com/mm_frame.html

mine is very badly damaged. the actual bit/diamond or whatever you call it.. points down now. so that the tip doesnt even cut the comm anymore.

ill give them a shot tho.
