Race Update (12-29)
Getting more and more entries each day. Over 300 now. Awesome! Thank you racers so much for the support. We have a record number of sponsors this year coming to the event. A huge thanks goes out to them!
The hotel room block for the racers is going to expire Jan. 3rd. Please make your reservations by then if you are coming. The hotel has sold out in prior years and this year there is a big convention in town so all the hotels are going to be full soon. The race hotel number is 407-996-7400.
Mike Rooney of Steel City Hobbies is coming back to the 'birds to do the filming! He filmed all the mains last year and had them for sale at the event and will be doing this for 2006. You can get DVD's and more. Mike also is working on a real RC documentary for television and using footage from last year and this year's 'birds as a big part of it. Thanks Mike - we all look forward to that. Thanks for all your efforts toward RC. (Go Steelers)
Hope everyone had a great Christmas and looking forward to the New Year!

Hello..
Jiam Sarquis was the 1st entry. We will be adding a complete racer list soon with class breakdowns and allow racers to email corrections if needed.
I know they have 2 free computers in the lobby with wireless in the front. I am not sure if it has made it to the rear yet.
We are setting up a local network that will reach the new food/bar and garden area. Racers will be able to see lap times, practice laps, racer charts, and some new stuff coming. So bring a laptop with wireless. It will be awesome to be able to see what's going on.

We try to have great coverage of the Snowbirds and bring the race to as many people we can to help promote R/C racing and advertise our sponsors.
This weekend we have a preview of the coverage that will be from the 2006 Snowbirds being held in Orlando, Florida.
Tune in this Friday night and Saturday and Sunday as we put on the Florida Indoor Carpet Shootout for on-road and oval racing. You should be able to see the racing, hear the audio, and see all the race results from the event. Thanks!

Hi
Really looking forward to this year's Birds - even though I'm not going Sadly being in the UK and a student with exams makes it kinda difficult. But now with all the web coverage I practically don't need to be there!
That racer map is really cool! Is there a list anywhere so we can see who's doing what class?
Thanks, looking forward to Feb!
