For those running lipos ie. Orion 3200s, Are you using the 2 battery holder ends that gets clipped in place with body pins? My Orion 3200 seems to be too long.

I am using some inserts I took out of the Take Off CS 27's they are the black inserts from the premounted tires used at Reedy.
I will be trying some new insert ideas over the next couple of weeks as well going to a softer compound tire as after driving Rtypes car I got traction envy.
I have also done some work to the front which may or may not be an advantage at Tamiya but we shall see this weekend.
Also I second what Rtype said use the tape the End caps are nice but they provide minimal ground clearance at the most needed point so this is why we do not run them "chassis dragging is bad umkay"
We are also running the 480 Platinums rather then the 3200 as they provide a little more more weight and the car is so light to begin with the weight helps Sub-C's are too heavy but it seems the chassis likes the 4800. I will do some further testing with the 3200 this weekend.
I have done some other minor tweaking and will report back after this weekend if any of it helped.

Thank guys for the info on the Lipos. I assume that either 3200 or the 4800 wiil be too long to use the plastic end holders.

If it is high downforce shells you want, then Active Hobby in Japan make these 190mm shells for the F103GT
