If anyone has had any trouble with the steering rack popping out, here's a quick fix that I did to my car and I know several other guys have done by adding 2 10mm x 3mm washers and a 1.0mm thick shim to the rear bearings of the steering rack.

Here's the set-up sheet from this weekend from 360v2. I was really happy with the car in the early hours Sunday morning and parked it to focus more time on the 1/12.

fit & quality of parts is excellent ( right up there with the high end/priced kits )
Easy build ( instructions manual could be a little better )
No leaks from diff or shocks
Plastic out drives on front spool are weak ( get the steel ones straight from the start )
Have ran mine now twice on out door low grip surfaces, from kit build have only made changes to front & rear roll centres & the car is very planted, can put where I want, plenty of steering & a very consistent car to drive
With some more racing & trying some things it will only get better for me
Hope this helps

I've run this car a few times now, it has awesome grip and plenty of steering, it's such an easy car to drive. After putting on the graphite arms and hubs it's much more consistent too.

Just finished putting my car together this past weekend.

I need to know if anyone had some trouble with the rear axles during assembly. Mine are so tight I can't get the cross joint back out of it. Do they need to be broken in somehow?

Also the ball cups are not as smooth as I would like them to be. Can anyone suggest a replacement?

Thanks in advance.

The cross joint pushed into the aluminum axle is essentially ceased. it won't move.

The yokomo cups feel pretty good thanks for the advice.

just wondering what peoples thoughts are on the ( optional/replacement ) steel steering rack over the std one that comes with the kit

the carbon bumper brace should be std in kit (imo) I have fitted an xray one to my cars, just a bit of protection for the front end of the chassis
