well, I was messing with the setups and tried several... so far I REALLY like surikarns setup from the tamiya website...cept for two changes.... I took out the rear block's spacers and put associated gold springs up front instead of assoc. silvers... so far I can out corner everyone at my track. 
Heck I just got a 2nd place trophy yesterday at a big race we had... I shoulda had 1st, but that went to the guy who clipped me going into a corner. :P I dunno bout you guys, but if I nail someone accidentally, I usually wait for him to pass me and then pass him clean the next time. I kinda feel bad about "taking people out" Not cool racing etiquette IMO.

Could someone supply a good setup for asphalt/parking lot . It's a new track so I don't know the grip. Lets assume medium to high. Stock 27t. CS27 tires are my usual choice. track layout changes every month but usually pretty technical with only 1 long straight of 100 to 125 ft.

I have been using this setup recently and it's been serving me very well.
Setup
The track you mentioned is similar to the one I first ran this setup on and it was like it was on rails.

lower a-arms.everyone uses the outer hole for mounting the shocks.

thought so, just checking.
i presume its to get more of a laydown shock type setup.
the outter hole will make it stiffer(less leverage), and being more layed down the shock will get stiffer as it is compressed(as long as it doesn't go past 90degrees of the a-arm, in which case it will get softer as compressed).
adjust the a-arm shock mount for major adjustments.
adjust the shock tower shock mount for minor adjustments.
so i quess it gives more of a progressive suspension.
i got this info from the XXX main chassis setup guide.
i presume its to get more of a laydown shock type setup.

nah, the more perpendicular the shock is to the a-arm the soft it will feel.
try it on you car. set one side with the most outer hole and the other with most inner. you can feel the difference by pushing the shocks up. i just tryed it out myself.

so if you want more grip youll have the shocks on the shock mounts outer most and on the a arms put them outer holes

no no, inner hole on the shock tower, outer hole on the a-arm

Don't you get grip and stability mixed up.
The outer hole makes the car stabile, and more predictable.
The inner hole (due to leverage) gives more grip.
Shocks lay-down seems to give more side-bite and feesl as if the car is more direct.
but trough long corners a standup will work better.
Also standup keeps up the speed (momentum) through the corners.
