2nd weekend on my Tc7's. Ran 17.5Tc & 25.5Tc. Made a few changes from stock & was able to Tq & win 17.5Tc & Tq'ed & broke the servo horn(found an air pocket inside the arm) in 25.5Tc. The cars were $. Turned fastest lap in every qual & main.

Thanks Team Associated!

Changes I made from stock:
1k rear diff
2.5° rear toe
Floating steering rack
White springs (Tc7)

Ran a speed6 & Dodge Dart. The Dart was 2 tenths faster but not as consistent. I choose the speed6. Very stable & consistent.

What would be recommended for a spare parts collection? Indoor USGT and outdoor Mod...

I like the lower price and especially the Easy Pay option but it's all Xray with a few Serpents around me so I'd be on my own for setup and parts.

my tc7 shows up tomorrow... will be racing 17.5 on high grip carpet.. is there a base setup somewhere? I see the ones on associated's website, just wondering if there is a base carpet setup.

thanks!

I would use the Keven Hebert Snowbird setup.

Could someone provide me with eye to eye shock length for the TC7? I'm looking at using the shocks on an oval car. Thanks in advance!

so I got my tc7 built today.. for those of you running the stock spur, what pinion(s) are you using in 17.5? I put a 27 on, which appears to be as big as it can go space wise.. still figuring out how to calculate this as I am a TC rookie.

The stock gear is for mod motors 8.5r and lower. You want to use either 90t-96t 64p or 70t-76t 48p Spurs for 17.5t motors. You want to achieve a 3.6 to 4.1 FDR, depending on the size of your track.

what spares are necessary to keep on hand? I am getting conflicting info saying the plastics are fragile or not fragile.. the spool out drive cups break, etc.

I bought a set of chubs and steering blocks and upgraded to steel drives on the spool. these are the only items I ever broke on my t4's so I figured I would start there.
