Shaft drive then!

If you're going by the thumb nail on the preorder page, it's the same one as the Evo II page :weird:

I did wonder that, as it's a CAD type drawing I assumed it was the new car

It is got to be different than current A700..just my .02

DesertRat 10-02-2015 08:42 AM

That's about $201 cheaper than I thought it would be.

Franko-- you are brand loyal. I promise.. You won't be disappointed!

I want to see the chassis before I pre-order. :D but 599.99 is a great price:nod:

Yep, if you right-click the image and do a 'save as', it comes up with 'A700L-500x500.jpg'. So they're not revealing anything new just yet ;)

I've heard the 800 is driven by gold chains. This is from a very reputable source ;)

Get ready for the bling

Is there a forecast date, even an educated guess, on when this is coming out? The A700, as someone else said has never been big in the UK. The new price point would really help.

At least now with the new A800 we will have the opportunity to do a straight comparison between shaft(A700) and belt(A800) drives ...... Thanks Awesomatix......

That's in pretty bad taste to put a product up for preorder with a picture titled a800 underneath it and then when you save it it saves as a700.

I'm curious what you think the thumbnail should be considering there has been no formal release of any information or photos of the A800. Once information and photos are made public, I'm sure the thumbnail will be corrected. Would you have preferred no thumbnail? Also, is it really that big of an issue?

Yes, no thumbnail would be better. Or perhaps an Awesomatix logo.

Putting an image of the wrong car is only going to mislead people.
